Richard Reed, Co-Founder Innocent Drinks and Trustee of the Innocent Foundation talks about Work For Oxfam Day.
Work for Oxfam Day is a unique employee-giving initiative that provides staff with the opportunity to donate an hour, half a day, or a full day's pay to Oxfam. Your company picks a date and we provide you with plenty of engaging communication tools to promote it to your employees and get them on board, as well as ideas for team-building activities and lunchtime talks that can be undertaken on the day itself.
"I'm really proud that UBM is supporting Work for Oxfam Day. It's a tremendous initiative and a lot of fun."
- David Levin, CEO, UBM
Payroll giving, also known as Workplace Giving, provides employees with an easy way to regularly donate to Oxfam straight from their salary before tax is deducted.
This means that if you pledge to give £10 a month, it will only cost you £8 on a basic rate tax, £6 on 40% tax, or £5 on 50% tax.
Thousands of employees throughout the UK donate to Oxfam through Payroll Giving every month.
Staff and customers raise more than £600,000 for Oxfam by undertaking challenges such as Race the Plane, and by donating their foreign change at collection points throughout the Airport.
