Let's rewrite the rules on tax dodging.
It's yet another story of global inequality: rich countries like the UK make the rules, rich corporations and individuals take advantage of loopholes and tax havens, and poor countries like Zambia and Malawi miss out on billions which should be spent on things like schools and hospitals.
While right now the most powerful countries write the rules on tax, a proposed global tax body could give all countries - rich and poor - a say in the tax decisions that affect them. We need everyone to get behind this:
Tell the UK government to push for a UN global tax body.
The UK government has promised it will lead the way on fighting tax dodging globally. This is an opportunity to show they mean it. Send a message now.
