Noor, 30, fled the war in Syria with her handicapped husband and two young children. Even in the face of a deepening crisis and human suffering, she sees the light in the darkness and has set up a school in her Syrian refugee settlement where she offers free classes to children. But for Noor, for her family, and for the millions of others who are affected by this crisis, we must boost the humanitarian response and ensure leaders prioritise a political solution with human rights at the heart.
