Oxfam's Face to Face Fundraising team

Having our own in-house fundraisers allows us to recruit long-term donors very cost-effectively and have greater accountability through our training and close monitoring of any compliance issues.

We have fundraisers working in Scotland, The North West, The Midlands, Wales and South West and around London. This national spread means we can recruit thousands of committed new donors each month and generate millions of pounds of unrestricted income each year to help tackle poverty and injustice around the world.

If you have joined Oxfam through one of our Face to Face Fundraisers, THANK YOU and we'd love to hear about your experience.

Meet the team

Carl Street - National Face-to-Face Fundraising Manager

Carl has worked in Face to Face fundraising for nearly 12 years, starting as a street fundraiser in 2004. He helped set up Oxfam's In house F2F operation in 2014 and is extremely proud of what it has become. In his spare time Carl splits his time between his family and playing in his band.

I love Oxfam because we are passionate about ending poverty for good. Our 3 core areas of work allow us to respond when terrible emergencies happen around the world. We help people, communities and even countries live more sustainable lives and we challenge the status quo that holds people in poverty.

Chris Taylor, Oxfam Face to Face Fundraiser

Chris Taylor - Southern Face-to-Face Operations Manager

Chris has worked in face to face fundraising for around 6 years and manages our London, Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff teams. He studied Human Geography at University and spends time training for triathlon, completing an Iron Man last year. Oh... and he ran away with the circus when he was a kid.

I love Oxfam because I am passionate about ending poverty around the world, this is a subject I have studied in depth and working as a Face to Face Fundraiser gives me the opportunity to change people's mindsets and make a direct change to the world today.

Penny Marceaux - London Regional Manager

Penny has worked in face to face fundraising for five-and-a-half years and was previously the fundraising team manager at St Mungo's charity for helping the homeless. She studied Dance and Video and Photography at University and loves music festivals and putting on music events.

I love Oxfam for everything that it stands for and because of the amazing work that Oxfam does. I love being part of a fundraising team that is able to make a difference in other people's lives.

Oliver Pancoust - Manchester Regional Manager

Ollie has worked in face-to-face fundraising for many years. He previously worked for Shelter's in-house team on both two step and straight to direct debit campaigns.

I've worked in fundraising for over 5 years and I wouldn't change a moment of it. I'm so proud of my team! Every single day they give 110% rain or shine and are completely committed to the work that Oxfam does. My favourite moments with Oxfam are when I have trained a new fundraiser and they sign up their first ever donor. They are always so excited and proud.

Nick Farrow, Oxfam Face to Face Fundraiser

Nick Farrow - Scotland Regional Manager

In the past Nick has managed campaigns for fundraising agencies and also worked in-house with charities. He has experience of setting up and running direct debit and text donation campaigns, using methods such as street, door to door, and private site fundraising.

Hi I'm Nick. I have size 14 feet, can balance a pool cue on my chin, and I love to play guitar. I love working for Oxfam because they refuse to live with poverty and they work tirelessly to improve the lives of people all over the world.

Antony McNally - Deputy Fundraising Manager (London)

Anthony has worked in F2F for more than 5 years and is the Deputy Manger for the London section, he's a budding writer and aims to work in the film industry one day.

I love Oxfam because we focus on every aspect of poverty; food, water and sanitation but also human rights, inequality and education.

Sam - Deputy Fundraising Manager (Manchester)

I'm Sam! I'm 26! I am Manchester's brand new Deputy Manager! I've been fundraising for 3 years and I cannot imagine myself doing any other than what I'm doing right now. Every single day is a journey of passion and self discovery. I love Oxfam because I know that every single minute of every single day we are saving lives.

Joe Dyer - Deputy Fundraising Manager (Glasgow)

I work for Oxfam because it refuses to accept that poverty is an accident, and persuading people to do something about it is addictive.

Ahmet Ahman - Team leader (London)

As a father one must have the needs of his children before the needs of himself, this is also true of the relationship between a team leader and his fundraisers. It is through this understanding that I am able to get the best out of my team and fulfil my expectation of myself by being an example. One of the reasons why I love fundraising is that it utilises my skill set as a leader of those who like me are dedicated to eradicating poverty wherever we find it.

Chelsea - Team Leader (Manchester)

Hi I'm Chelsea. I'm from Canada and I'm 23 years old. I'm a Team Leader at Oxfam and I've been here for a year and a half. I love my job because I love the people I work with and I meet amazing people everyday. My favourite thing about Oxfam is the campaigning!

Emma McGill - Team Leader (Manchester)

Hi I'm Emma "amazing" McGill, I've lived in Manchester for 3 years now. I love Oxfam because their work is incredibly wide spread but they still get amazing results through the work they do!

Sarah - Team Leader (Manchester)

Hiya I am Sarah! I am the nana at Oxfam Manchester at the grand old age of 27. I have been a team leader with Oxfam since December 2014. I think I have a wonderful job because out team is like a family. We love to go out every single day and make a difference. Oxfam is incredible as we believe that everybody deserves a chance!

Jamie Lewis - Team Leader (Glasgow)

I'm proud of Oxfam's work holding governments to account on everything from tax avoidance to women's rights to climate change.

Kieran Timoney - Team Leader (Glasgow)

I love working for Oxfam because of all the life changing work that they do for those less fortunate. It inspires me to know I am making a difference to the world.

Alex - Fundraiser (Manchester)

Hello my name is Alex, in 20 years old. I've been at Oxfam since January 2016 and I've loved every single second of being involved with everything Oxfam. In the future my number one goal is to speed Oxfam's message all over the world starting in Australia!

Abdul Kadir - Fundraiser (London)

My passion is to make a difference. When you have true passion towards any aspect of your life, nothing can stand in your way. Passion drives, motivates, and creates endless opportunities. Passion keeps you focused when life tries to throw you off your path. Passion says yes I can when everyone else says no you can't! Passion lets you hold your head up high and walk proud. Passion makes you YOU!

Joe Campbell - Fundraiser (London)

Where there is dark we bring light

Joe, a man of few words but exceptional fundraising talent.

John Villars - Fundraiser (London)

Using my skill set to weave together community will always be the driving force behind any work I do. If my abilities help build and maintain a community in the developing world, then my time is being well-spent.

Nicki Muggeridge - Fundraiser (London)

I'm a strong believer in "No one has ever become poor by giving" - Anne Frank. Being a fundraiser doesn't just mean reaching a certain target, it's reaching a goal that everyone wants to one day see achieved and being part of that movement makes every day I go into work amazing!
