The University of Sheffield Oxfam Society held an event for Oxfam's 'even it up' campaign, which included a tax-themed penalty shoot-out. They are also arranging an educational evening on climate change and inequality.
In addition, they are working with other societies within the university on the first ever University of Sheffield charity ball, aimed at fundraising for five major charities across the campus.
Campaign for Oxfam
Many local community groups have helped spread the word about Oxfam's work by inviting guests speakers to talk or run a workshop for them. Interested in arranging a speaker to come to your group?
We offer talks that cater to all age-groups and interests about the work Oxfam does towards fighting global poverty, and interactive workshops about key issues Oxfam works on such as climate change, inequality and education.
