Online Sales Assistant Colchester

Context:

Our Colchester shop is brimming over with music, books, stamps, clothing, homewares, toys and accessories donations from our generous donors and customers. We are always in need of online sales assistants to help Oxfam make the most of these donations by offering suitable items to be listed online to give them a chance to be offered for sale to a wider customer base. If you would like to volunteer in a positive, vibrant and social environment for a good cause, this may be the role for you!

Key responsibilities:

Using retail knowledge and research skills to price each item appropriately.

Use basic photography skills after preparing donated stock for sale online.

Accurately describing the sale offer listing.

Adhere to set standards and exceed in giving excellent customer service within an e-commerce setting.

Skills and competencies:

An interest in retail.

Basic IT skills and competency.

Attention to detail.

Basic photography skills.

Technical garment experience would be highly desirable but not essential.

Books/Music knowledge would be advantageous but not essential

Desire to learn or develop new skills in the field of online retail.
