Could you be an Oxjam Takeover Manager?
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS HAS NOW PASSED. KEEP AN EYE ON THIS WEBSITE FOR OTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED IN THE COMING WEEKS AND MONTHSWe're looking for outstanding individuals, who know and love their local music scene, to organise our biggest and best events this year. The Takeovers are the jewels in the Oxjam crown – amazing multi-venue events, which take place across the UK on one weekend in October. Now's your chance to be part of that.
DEADLINE EXTENDED: If you think you've got what it takes to be a Takeover Manager, please email the completed form to oxjamapplications@oxfam.org.uk by 18th March. Please specify in the subject line which town/city you are applying for.
We are particularly keen to receive more applications for Leeds, Sheffield, Cardiff, Swansea, Leicester, Liverpool, Exeter and London, but we are open to applications from anywhere. The only exceptions are Birmingham, Bristol, Bournemouth, Cheltenham, Brecon, Beeston (Notts), Manchester, Islington, Chiswick, Oxford, and Cambridge, as we now have Takeover Managers in place in those cities. But if that's where you live, don't worry - there will be opportunities to join those teams, or to run your own non-Takeover event.

Oxjam is made up of hundreds of events happening across the UK, throughout the month of October. But the Oxjam Takeovers are the pinnacle. Last year 33 Takeover events entertained punters across the country, from Aberdeen to Bournemouth and from Cardiff to Newcastle.
These are exciting, vibrant multi-venue events, taking over a town or city for a whole day. They feature dozens of artists, and raise on average ten times more money for Oxfam than other Oxjam events. They're run by the best volunteers we can find.
We offer one-to-one support, and training with industry experts to help you every step of the way.
Please note that these roles are all unpaid.
Deadline for applications is the 18th March. Interviews will be in late March (dates will vary by region). You will then be expected to come to induction training in Oxford on 14th-15th April (we cover all the costs of this - you just need to be free to come).
