Join the central Oxjam team

We're looking for someone to join us as an intern to organise a series of training events for Oxjam volunteers in 2012. This is a challenging role, and will offer great experience for anyone looking for experience in events, training or the charity sector. See below for full role description, and how to apply.

Oxjam is made up of hundreds of events happening across the UK, throughout the month of October. All this is coordinated by a small team of staff and volunteer interns based in Oxfam's headquarters in Oxford, or in one of our regional offices. We're looking for a Training Events Executive to join this team. The role is voluntary, 3 days per week, based in Oxford, and will last for five months.

You will lead on two residential weekend events and 3-5 one-day events around the country. You will organise the logistics for each event, and work closely with the Oxjam Manager, other Oxfam staff and music industry partners to develop the content. You will then be responsible for leading a team of staff and interns to run each event on the day.
