The Edinburgh Marathon Festival is one of the UK's major running events so join the Oxfam team to make sure you're involved!
There's something for everyone: the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Relay - all of which will help change the lives of poor people.

Race details
- Full Marathon: Sunday 27 May, 2012 (£550 fundraising pledge)
- Half Marathon: Sunday 27 May, 2012 (£300 fundraising pledge)
- Hairy Haggis Relay: Sunday 27 May, 2012 (£750 per team fundraising pledge)
- 10km race: Saturday 26 May, 2012 (£150 fundraising pledge)
- 5km race: Saturday 26 May, 2012 (£80 fundraising pledge)
How to get a place in the 2012 Edinburgh Marathon Festival
You can get an Oxfam place in one of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival events now, by visiting the EMF website
We are pleased to confirm there are no entry fees for any of our charity places. All you need to do is raise the minimum fundraising pledge (see above).
Supporting your run
We’ll be there every step of the way. Whether you run with us using one of our charity places or you use your own place, you can bank on:
- On the day support - we’ll cheer you on during the event and meet you at the finish line. We’ll give you bags of moral support as well as recovery treats, a massage and a big celebration at the end.
- An Oxfam running vest - in stand-out green with a space to write your name
- A running pack - full of fantastic fundraising materials and advice
- Regular expert advice - via our newsletters to help you with all your training, nutrition and fundraising
- Supportive phone calls - to make sure you’re getting everything you need
