Thank you to everyone who took part in Live Below the Line Week and to everyone who is taking part now! Over 500 people signed up for the challenge with Oxfam and so far we have raised over £58,000 for Oxfam's work!

Thank you so much for your dedication and passion throughout your Live below the Line challenge - it was a really tough week but thanks to your commitment along with the rest of Team Oxfam you've raised over £49,000 for Oxfam projects all over the world, which is incredible! Thank you.

Your money is already making a dramatic difference to lift lives like Rey Maurillo and Anselma Labadia's in the Philippines. After the Typhoon Haiyan disaster hit at the end of last year, families were desperate for food and farmers' crops had been ruined. Oxfam is moving quickly to get rice seed to farmers so they could replace crops destroyed by the typhoon. In this video they describe just what your support means to them.

If you're inspired by what you've seen and would like to do more locally to continue making an amazing impact globally then please get in touch with your Regional Fundraiser - they're right on your doorstep and have loads of different ways you could get involved.

Thank you again for Living Below the Line for Oxfam.

Why now?

900 million people still go to bed hungry every night - this is just plain wrong. Oxfam is one of many UK charities who are working to create a global movement around food and nutrition in 2013. This year, the world's most powerful leaders will meet at the G8 summit, they must act to change the lives of millions who face a hunger struggle, on every day of every week. By raising awareness and campaigning for change we can stop people going hungry and help them to feed themselves for good.

The first step is seeing what it is like to take part in Live Below the Line. And then next use the link below to find out how to take part.
