Payroll giving

Payroll Giving (also known as Give As You Earn) means employees can donate tax-free to Oxfam through their pay packet. When an employee donates from their gross wages, their chosen charity receives the tax on the donation too, making the gift worth up to 40% more.

Payroll Giving is the most tax-efficient way to give to charity - and is the only way a 40% or 50% rate taxpayer can donate their full tax on a donation (unlike Gift Aid, which is only ever a standard tax-free donation).

Payroll Giving is a great way to introduce Corporate Social Responsibility to your employees. The scheme can also boost staff morale and can complement any existing volunteering and employee engagement programmes.

The scheme is also free to set up, so don't hesitate to contact our Corporate Partnerships Team to discuss setting up Payroll Giving to Oxfam in your workplace.
