The Oxfam Shop in Stanmore specialises in high quality clothing and accessories This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in men's fashion to make use of their passion within an interesting charity retail environment.
You should be able to offer 1 shift a week (4 hour shift).
Organising and maintaining the clothing section of stock room.
Sorting donated stock, according to Oxfam's retail standards.
Valuing and pricing within the shop pricing guidelines and policy ready for the shop floor.
Use the guidelines from Oxfam and from the Shop Manager in order to keep up with current trends.
Maintain the clothes display in the shop and replenish as required.
Ensure that items are displayed appropriately to attract as many customers as possible and to maximise sales.
Skills and competencies:
No formal qualifications are required. Training will be given.
Have an interest in men's fashion.
Show an attention to detail to ensure that clothing is sorted to a high standard
Have knowledge of clothing and current trends.
Be reliable and able to work as part of a team.
Have the ability to work within the shop guidelines and terms and conditions.
Have a willingness to learn.
