Homewares and Collectables Volunteer (Sherwood)


You will work as part of a team to make sure that we are selling good quality items for the right price. It does not matter if you are a novice or experienced with homewares- you will receive all the training and support needed for this role.

Preferably two 4 hours shifts per week.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and value saleable items from donated stock
  • Identify potential high value items for sale at auction or online
  • Price items within the shop pricing guidelines and policy
  • Washing/cleaning pricing items
  • Merchandising and displaying stock on the shop floor

Skills and competencies:

  • An interest in homewares and collectables
  • Willingness to learn (training given)
  • Reliability and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work within agreed shop guidelines
