Weekend supervisor (Percy Street Newcastle)

Context:

This is a good opportunity to volunteer in a friendly and well merchandized store. As the weekend supervisor you will be responsible for the running of the shop, from opening to closing time. We are looking for someone who is proactive and is able to multi-task.

Frequency: Saturdays 09.30. - 17.00.

Key responsibilities:

Managing the rota to ensure volunteers are well deployed throughout the day.

Ensuring the shop floor is kept tidy, creating the best possible impression to customers.

Being responsible for unlocking and locking the shop.

Training new volunteers.

Completing the financial end-of-day sheet to record takings, in line with shop policies.

Skills and competencies:

Training will be given however you should be able to show the following:

The potential to learn new skills.

The ability to work on your own initiative.

The ability to delegate and to work as a member of a team.

Proven reliability and trustworthiness.
