Music sales assistant (Holloway Road, Islington)

Context:

This is an exciting volunteer opportunity as you get not only useful experience but will also be a valued member of our friendly and committed team of volunteers. You will work within the main Oxfam shop, taking a specific role in organising the sales of recorded music (CDs, records etc) and sheet music.  Ideally you will be able to offer approximately 8 hours per week.

Key responsibilities:

Updating and researching any price changes to our music stock.

Managing the donations, replenishment and display of music product items.

Serving customers and promoting music products.

Skills and competencies:

To be able to work as part of a team.

A willingness to learn.

Good communication skills

A reasonable knowledge of music although whether you've a lot of retail/music experience or none, you'll receive the training and support that you need.
