Shop volunteer (Edgware)

Context:

We are a shop that sells a range of goods including books, music, homeware and collectables. Our volunteer team consists of a diverse range of people and we are currently looking for new volunteers who are passionate about Oxfam's mission, and who can support the success of our Edgware shop.

Ideally you will be able to offer one or two 4-hours shifts per week.  We hope that you will be able to work with us for at least three months and that you will want to stay for much longer.

Key responsibilities:

Sorting through incoming donated stock.

Pricing items according to Oxfam's pricing guidelines.

Skills and competencies:

  • Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work within agreed shop guidelines. 
  • Willingness to learn (training given).
