You will work as part of a team to make sure that we are selling good quality items for the right price. You will help to display and merchandise these items. It does not matter if you are a novice or experienced with books-you will receive all the training and support needed for this role.
Ideally you will be able to offer at least 3 hours per week.
Sorting through and pricing of donated books.
Replenishing shop stock and merchandising.
Ensuring that books are displayed attractively in the shop in order to maximise sales.
Ensuring 'back-room' book storage is tidy and well ordered.
Skills and competencies:
An interest in books is essential and some knowledge of current trends an advantage.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to contribute new ideas.
