Online books sales (Derby)


We're looking for committed individuals to help us run our online shop including listing items for sale, checking existing listings and helping to co-ordinate our current online sales team.

No previous experience is needed as full training will be given.

Ideally you will be able to offer at least 3 hours per week.

Key responsibilities:

Listing donated books on Oxfam's online shop (writing descriptions and pricing)

Storing items in designated areas

Packaging and posting sold items

Co-ordinating work with the existing team.

Skills and competencies:

Enthusiastic attitude towards work

Capable of working independently

An eye for detail

A passionate for books

Computer literacy.

The opportunity to learn about online retail and be a part of our rapidly expanding business.

Helping to maximize income for Oxfam to help alleviate poverty and suffering.

Training in the more specialist aspects of bookselling and collecting.

Travel expenses can be reimbursed.
