Run by the Levellers, and set in the Grounds of Escot Park not far from Exeter in Devon, Beautiful Days is a family orientated festival with a difference. With people coming back year after year, it is a very relaxed and laid-back festival but extremely well organised.
There is a well run and very popular kids area in the centre of the site alongside comedy, theatre and art areas. This festival benefits from having no corporate sponsorship. The food stalls, beer tents and other merchandise are all small businesses.
The music has a folk/rock theme with the Levellers playing the first set of the weekend in the big top and the finale on the main arena stage on Sunday night. This year their final set was followed by a spectacular firework display.
