When an emergency hits, Oxfam is there. At any given time our teams are responding to an average of 25 emergencies worldwide.

Bangladesh Rohingya Crisis

Hundred of thousands of Rohingya people have crossed over to Bangladesh. This is a large scale and escalating humanitarian crisis.

They are living in terrible conditions and need life-saving assistance now. More than 70% of the refugees are without adequate shelter and half have no safe drinking water.

Iraq crisis

4.2 million people have fled their homes as a result of fighting in central and northern Iraq and over 11 million people are in need of humanitarian aid due to the ongoing crisis. 

Families that have fled their homes and those that have returned home remain in desperate need of food, shelter, medicine and water.

Oxfam is helping over 300,000 people. This includes water, cash and hygiene items.
