4 people, 1 band, touring 3 continents, in 18 countries, with 76 gigs, 100,000s of fanatical fans, over 1300 Oxfam volunteers, and our very own Pete Lusby blogging it all.

Not sure what all this adds up to?

Well, it's Coldplay's mammoth 2008 'Viva La Vida' World Tour and Oxfam has been invited along to get Coldplay fans support for our 'Health and Education For All' campaign, by signing our special pledge.

Coldplay have been fans of Oxfam for some time - you may remember them supporting our Make Trade Fair campaign - the band helped to give that campaign huge exposure on the 'Rush of Blood' and 'Twisted Logic' tours.

So, when Coldplay asked if we'd like to come and have a chat with their fans around the world, we jumped to it.

The tour is 66 shows in, and so far, 1,300 campaigning volunteers have signed-up 64,360 Coldplay fans to the Health and Education For All pledge.

The UK tour has started incredibly well, with over 10, 000 fans making the Health and Education For All pledge, at just 6 shows, with a special mention for Birmingham volunteers who signed up 2,448 people, in less than 3 hours.

A big thank you to our volunteers and Coldplay fans for helping get Health and Education for all. You can follow how Pete and our volunteers get on for the rest of the tour, by reading Oxfam's special Coldplay tour blog.
