Question: How do you make the world a better place?
14 January 2009

Imagine that you've got the undivided attention of big business, big leaders and big thinkers. Imagine that they're sat on your sofa listening intently to what's on your mind. What would you ask them?
Well, here is your chance to ask a BIG question at the World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting, in Davos, Switzerland. The WEF is an annual meeting where politicians, business leaders, representatives from NGO's, including our very own Barbara Stocking, and other people with important titles, get together to try and make the world a better place. No, we're not making that up! And you could join them...
What do you have to do?
Make a short video where you ask a question, then upload it to YouTube's special World Economic Forum page. YouTube will select some of the videos to be shown at a special session of the meeting.
Come up with something really cool and YouTube will bring you to the meeting to ask your question in person.
Not sure what question to send to the meeting?
You might want to find out how they plan to answer Nelson Mandela's call to be the generation that ends poverty. Or, ask them how they will keep their commitments to reduce poverty by 2015. Maybe you might want to get their thoughts on how the financial crisis impacts on poverty reduction measures? Or, find out what they will do to get a safe and fair climate change deal at the UN Climate Conference later in the year.
If you're still not sure, have a look at a short video of our campaigns director, Thomas Schultz-Jagow, outlining some of Oxfam's priorities for the year ahead.
Can you think of any other questions, share them by leaving a comment below?
