Prior to this event Abraham traveled the length of Wales visiting Bangor, Aberystwyth, Carmarthen, Cardiff and Brecon meeting Oxfam volunteers and supporters.

This was a chance for people to hear directly how their time and money is helping poor people in Liberia but also a chance for Abraham to thank volunteers and supporters and to make them realise that their support, however big or small, is making them agents of change.

"Girls of Substance: Getting girls back into school in Liberia"

We live in a world of inequalities
Not by chance, neither by choice
Society dictates the norms
We make the norms of the most vulnerable
Of the most powerless
Of the most marginalised

But listen
We are girls of substance
We are equal mates
Not subordinates
We are equal brains
Not shadows of beauty
We are agents of change
Not products of chance

We were nowhere
But today we are somewhere
We were nobody
But today we are somebody
We were useless
But now we are useful
We were hopeless

But now we are hopeful
We are girls of great possibility
Be not afraid of girls in search of equality
We have that dynamic ability
Help us improve our dignity
Give us your best
Oxfam will do the rest
