Green nappies

9 December 2008

It was enough to send us on a green nappy mission this week after reading that an estimated 5,000 disposable nappies are used by just one baby throughout infancy. Crikey. Seems like a lot of unnecessary and expensive waste. Luckily our mini-mission has led us to the visionary (and brilliantly named) BumGenius , makers of a colourful cloth nappy that is better for the little'uns skin, prevents billions of disposable nappies heading to landfill each year, and saves a good stash of money in the long-run too. No wonder it's the top-reviewed cloth nappy online. A wonderful thought - a load of ethical baby's bottoms paving the way for sustainable futures for us all.
