"I returned to Sri Lanka for the six-month anniversary of the Tsunami. Before dawn on 26 June I walked down to Navaladi beach in Batticaloa not sure what I'd find. This had been the site of incredible devastation - almost every house in the three fishing villages along this stretch of coast had been flattened by the Tsunami waves. The beach appeared deserted but then as the sun slipped over the Indian ocean I found these fishermen with their boats looking out to sea."
