The issue of access to HIV and AIDS anti-retroviral drugs (ARVs) is critical. One of the aims of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) is to enure that everyone with HIV and AIDS gets access to these drugs. Quite simply, they keep people alive. However, as things stand about 5 million HIV and AIDS sufferers aren’t getting this treatment.
