A short film from Helena Murphy, one of our citizen journalists

The floods in Pakistan are an emergency on an unprecedented scale. Millions of people have been inspired to take action: to give money, to contact their politician or to hold fundraising events. Others, like Helena, used their talents to spread the word.

We love her simple but powerful film. She says,

"We in Britain have water surrounding us everyday, and we take it for granted often using it without realising how lucky we are. In Pakistan in that they are surrounded by flood-water but have no clean water. "

If you'd like to use your talents to make a film, write a blog or spread the word about any of Oxfam's campaigns, get in touch with Rosie about becoming part of our Citizen Journalist Network- rosiemcintosh@oxfam.org.uk
