Climate change is going to make life even harder for poor people in the UK, but we can tackle climate change and poverty together. This is the message from a new report - tackling climate change, reducing poverty - released a few days ago, by a new coalition of organisations led by Oxfam and nef (the new economics foundation).

It makes the argument that we cannot choose between tackling poverty and tackling climate change - the two are closely interlinked.
