So the Olympics is all over (at least until the Paralympics!). Did you know that London 2012 is responsible for the biggest peacetime mobilisation of people since World War II - the 70,000 volunteers who helped keep the Olympic Games running smoothly?
Oxfam relies on volunteers too - more than 22,000 of them across the UK. The time you give to support our life-changing work makes all the difference in the world. Fancy getting involved? Here are some ways you can volunteer with us.
In an Oxfam shop: We won most profitable charity retailer in 2011 thanks to our brilliant team of more than 22,000 shop volunteers.
In our offices: Looking for a new challenge or career change? A few months at Oxfam is a great way to hone your skills.
In your community: Get involved with Oxfam supporters in your local area to help transform other communities worldwide.
At an event or festival: Help out at an Oxfam event or festival and we can promise you a memorable experience!
At our warehouses: We've a range of roles in our warehouses to sort and prepare stock donated to Oxfam shops.
On our Supporter Panel: Sign up to complete a 15-minute survey for us once a month, and help steer the way to a fairer world.
There are loads of ways to volunteer for Oxfam. Hopefully we'll see you in an Oxfam office or shop or a festival field one day soon!
