"Cash for work" workers sing and dance with their tools on their way to work in rice fields in River Gee county, Liberia.
As well as paying people to farm near their homes, we give them tools and clothing, including a rake, shovel, hoe, file, raincoat, boots and gloves. We also teach them how to manage their swamp farms and irrigate their fields.
What Oxfam does
