A startling infographic for World AIDS Day

Here's an infographic from the king of infographics, David McCandless, showing just what a difference treatment can make for people living with AIDS. 85% of people die without treatment - compared to 20% with treatment.
Today is World AIDS Day - an opportunity for people everywhere to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and commemorate people who have died.
Oxfam campaigns internationally to make cheaper and better medicines available in developing countries, and for governments to invest in health services, supported by rich countries.
Like in 2008, when legal action by pharmaceutical giant Novartis put the health of millions of people at risk. 80,000 Oxfam campaigners stepped in to help put a stop to it - and helped change thousands of lives in the process. Here's to more of that great work by you and Oxfam together.
