Oxfam staff and volunteers are joining the rest of the UK today by donning their red noses to raise money for Comic Relief.
The first Red Nose Day took place on 5 February 1988 and Oxfam has been involved from the very beginning. Here are a few things you might not know about the famous fundraiser:

- The first Red Nose Day, in 1988, raised £15m. In 2011 the UK public donated a fantastic £108m.
- In 2012 Comic Relief awarded Oxfam £2.2m to fund a beekeeping project in Ethiopia. That project has resulted in more income for families, helping them to become self-sufficient.
Hopefully you've already picked up a Red Nose from one of our shops but if not, make sure you pop in today!
