Starting today, we're pleased to announce that some of the UK's top bands will be sharing some of their favourite tunes from their record collections on our blog.
With Glastonbury just around the corner, this year's festival season is now well and truly underway. So, to mark the start of what we hope will be a long hot summer, here's something for the music fans amongst you.
For the next five days, we'll be releasing a series of playlists chosen by some of the biggest and most diverse names in music, including Primal Scream, The XX, Editors, Two Door Cinema Club and Bombay Bicycle Club.
The artists releasing their playlists (which are also being hosted by Spotify - you'll need a Spotify account to access them) have done so in support of Love Syria - a new Oxfam campaign asking festival goers to show support for Syrian people who've been displaced from their homes as a result of conflict.
Keep checking this blog over the coming week for a new playlist, we'll be releasing one or two each day.
And if you're off to any festivals this year, keep your eye out for Oxfam volunteers out and about around the site. Or in the mean time, you can sign our Syria petition for more aid and peaceful outcome to the conflict.
Thursday's playlist: Bombay Bicycle Club
Friday's playlist: Editors
Saturday's playlists: Josephine, Two Door Cinema Club
