Getting to Oxfam House via bus

Oxfam House, the Head Office of Oxfam GB, is at John Smith Drive, Cowley, Oxford, OX4 2JY. You can catch a number of buses to Oxfam's office on the Oxford Business Park from the centre of town.

From the railway station

Route 5, which goes to Blackbird Leys, runs from the railway station every 12 minutes on weekdays and Saturdays. On Sundays it runs every 15 minutes. You will have to disembark at either Barnes Road or The Original Swan pub and walk to the Business Park.

From the coach station

Coaches from London and Heathrow and Gatwick airports arrive at the Gloucester Green coach station which is a few minutes walk from the city centre.

Use local buses 5, 5a, 5b, 1, or 10 to get to the Business Park. Boarding point for the 5, 5a, and 5b is at Queen Street. Boarding point for the 1 and 10 is at The Golden Cross, which is on Cornmarket Street, near the junction with the High Street. Again, you will have to disembark at either Barnes Road or The Original Swan pub and walk to the Business Park.

From Barnes Road
  • Alight at the Bartholomew Road bus stop (just after the small children's play park)
  • Walk back to the play park and turn right just after it, into Boswell Road
  • Very shortly after the park ends, turn right onto the cycle path and follow it into the Business Park
  • Turn right at the end of the cycle parth. Walk along the road for a few minutes
  • After Cuffas Lea House on the right, you will see a blue sign for Sterling House; opposite there is a footpath
  • Take the footpath (keeping an office car park to your left and unused building plot on your right). This footpath will lead you to the roundabout outside Oxfam House
From The Original Swan
  • Get off the bus at The Original Swan pub on the corner of Garsington Road and Between Towns Road
  • Follow Garsington Road (away from the City Centre and Templars Square)
  • Pass the Total Petrol Station on your right
  • Turn right at the roundabout towards Oxford Business Park South
  • At the next roundabout take the left hand turning, keeping the ponds/waterfall on your right
  • After a few minutes walk you will see the sign pointing you into the Oxfam car park on the right
