Pakistan – did you know?

Location: Pakistan is in southern Asia bordering Iran, Afghanistan, China and India.

Capital city: Islamabad

Climate: Pakistan experiences extreme cold in the mountains with tropical weather and monsoons in the rest of the country.

Food: Chapatis, a round, flat bread are eaten with tasty curries, accompanied by lassi, a refreshing drink made from yoghurt.

Languages: The official language is Urdu, which is spoken by 9% of the population. Many other languages are also spoken.
