Further work

As the Beyond the Wave resource includes plenty of material, you may well find that you do not finish it all in the time you have available. It is usually better to ensure that you have brought each morning or day’s work to a proper conclusion before continuing onto the next. If this means that you do not cover material from one of the days, perhaps this could be used on a separate occasion at a later date. It should also be noted that much of this kind of work on Global Citizenship can be easily incorporated into other curriculum areas during the school year. For example much of the work on fair trade can be successfully covered in Mathematics (fair shares), D&T (leaflets) and Art (posters).
