Have you recently upgraded your mobile phone? Then why not recycle
your old one by donating it to Oxfam? We can make use of it.
How?
We sell old mobiles to raise money for people in developing countries.
By recycling your phone in this way, you are also helping to protect
the environment.
On average, each working handset is worth £5 to Oxfam,
but some are worth much more.
Organise a collection in your school
You could encourage your friends to recycle their
old phones by organising a collection in
your school.
You could also tell your teachers about this scheme.
There are useful learning
resources available from this site to help them lead discussions
and give thought-provoking lessons about the way we communicate
today.
