What do we want to change? What do we want to change?Unfair trade rules force many local producers and farmers to suffer because they are forced to sell their goods to big international companies at very low prices. One large fashion retailer pays only around £1 in wages for a pair of trainers that are sold for £60. Oxfam believes that poor producers should be paid a fair price, and be helped to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to develop their businesses, so they can work their way out of poverty. What we are calling for :
