If one person tries to change things, it's difficult for them to make people listen to what they have to say; but if lots of people who want similar things join together, they can make people listen to them and change things for the better.

Oxfam helps people speak up for their rights.

Example – Mali

'We want a world where there is no discrimination between boys and girls, between the able and the disabled, between the rich and the poor. We want a healthy, safe, clean environment suitable for all. And we want a decent education and opportunities for play, instead of having to work.'
