Michelle Collins is well known for her role in the BBC TV series
Eastenders. More recently she has starred in the hit
TV shows Sunburn, Daylight Robbery and Perfect.
Michelle is a committed supporter of Oxfam's campaigns. She has
travelled to Kenya,
South Africa, Brazil
and most recently Armenia
to find out how and why Oxfam is working in these countries.
"It's been a huge learning experience. At home we
all have our problems and people don't think beyond their own
doorstep, but the world is becoming smaller and we should care
about what happens in other cultures."

Michelle travelled to Armenia to see the work that Oxfam's health
programmes have been doing.
"In Armenia... people were used to quite a good
standard of living. Now things have changed and life's much tougher.
It must be hard to cope when life has changed so much."
