"It is very easy for humans to fear things that are other than
themselves. This was probably quite useful when we all lived on
the Serengeti Plain, but it's not very helpful in the multi-cultural
world in which we now live.
We need to understand that differences do not make other people
alien - they just make them more interesting."
To some, hes the thick, dirty, smelly man-servant named Baldrick
in the BBCs Blackadder comedy series; to others hes
the presenter of the archaeology series Time Team; or the nasty
Sheriff of Nottingham in Maid Marian. He is, of course, Tony Robinson.
Tony is a long-term supporter of Oxfam who has travelled widely
to publicise the work that Oxfam does in different countries.
