Why not invite a guest speaker to visit your school to talk about specific issues? A few ideas:

  • Member of the local Young Farmers' group
  • Local dairy farmer
  • Member of the NFU (National Farmers' Union), Farm, Farmers for Action, Dairy Industry Federation, Dairy Council, Milk Development Council or Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers etc.
  • Member of the Soil Association or Organic Milk suppliers co-operative
  • Local fair-trade representative
  • Representative of an NGO campaigning on trade. Christian Aid, ActionAid and Unicef can all supply speakers for schools. Unfortunately, Oxfam has very few available speakers at the moment.
