Queen Mary's High School, Walsall, in the UK. What's wrong with our world?
by Trusha, Gillian, and Sandeep, Queen Mary's High School
The world is full of poverty,
The world is full of violence.
Thousands of lives are lost everyday,
Why should innocent people die?
Racists walk the earth;
Without any guilt in their hearts,
Hurtful words do lots of harm,
But why don't they care?
Pollution is filling the air,
The world is coming to an end,
If people carry on the way they are,
Will it be long before all is lost?
We all hope it won't be long,
Before evil departs the earth,.
Then our hopes will be fulfilled,
But just how long away?
