millennium peace
by Hafsa and Emma, aged 11, Queen Mary's High School

Let there be peace on Earth,
Let there be love in our hearts,
Let the light shine throughout the world,
Let there be no poverty,
Let there be no wars or people killed,
Let all the children have education,
Let there be no waste,
Let every person have a home,
Let everyone have the chance to speak out,
Let every child have a loving family,
Let there be enough food for all,
Let everyone be treated equally,
Let us work out our problems,
Let every country live in peace with it's neighbours,
Let there be equal trading rights,
Let there be opportunities for all,
Let there be no hatred,
Let there be no pollution,
Let there be no famine,
Let there be warm clothes for everyone,
Let there be no natural disasters,
Let there be love for nature,
Let there be no more diseases,
Let there be no unnecessary killings of animals,
Let everyone be healthy,
Let there be care for the planet,
Let there be no endangered species of plants or of animals,
Let there be no crime,
Let everyone have a good heart,
Let there be no hatred between different religions,
Let there be no arranged marriages,
Let everyone love each other,
And let it begin with ME!!!
