"I'm a beggar, today I've got no prospects but when I'm 20 I'll do what all the other young men in Mopti do and earn lots of money from the tourists so that I can help my mother and in the future buy a house, and a bike.

"There are fifteen of us and I'm the youngest, all of my brothers and sisters have been beggars at one time or another, like my father and mother, it runs in the family. At home we've never had much happiness."
