To celebrate the opening of the Channel Tunnel, the UK and France
agreed to print a stamp that had the same picture: the British
Lion "kissing" the French cockerel! They make a bridge;
the tunnel is shown underneath them. The UK is the green land
on the left; France is the green land on the right.
There are several differences between the two stamps – can
you spot them?
