Getting hold of all the
information you need to give a presentation can be a difficult job. This
sheet is
designed to get you started.
For the tourist board, your
job will be to prove that Ghana is an exciting and interesting place to
visit. The most important resource for you will be the Sights and Sounds in Tropicality, but you will find lots
of interesting information in other places. Look at the resources page to get started.
Introduction
Read through the information
you have and find three good reasons why a tourist might want to
come to Ghana. This might be the weather, or the countryside, or
things that happen, or things to see, or anything that you think
might make people want to come to Ghana.

When you have come
up with three reasons, write a short paragraph explaining why
tourists would want to come to Ghana.

The
right story and the perfect picture
Read
through the information you have and find an interesting story which
will make people want to visit Ghana. It could be about a particular
place, or a special event, or something unusual, which you can only
see in Ghana. Write it out in your own words.
When you have written
the story, you need a picture to go with it. Think of what the
perfect picture to attract tourists to Ghana would look like,
and then either draw it, or find a picture on this Web site which
seems perfect.

Summing
up
Finally, think about
all the different reasons why a tourist would want to come to Ghana.
Think about what would make you want to go to Ghana. Come up with
a single sentence which says why people should want to visit Ghana.
