Classroom activities
- Our food, our world - free online resource exploring the lives of two children and the food they eat: Yamini, from India, and Luis, from Mexico. Includes photographs, ready-to-use activities, country information, and recipes. Ideal for ages 5 to 9.
- Diversity and Dialogue - a range of resources to help build understanding between young people of different backgrounds and faiths, developed by organisations as diverse as Islamic Relief, World Jewish Aid, Oxfam, Christian Aid, the Citizenship Foundation, and Save the Children. Order a free DVD, produced by young people, exploring the challenges and opportunities of growing up in a multi-faith society, and download a free booklet of accompanying activities.

can you? - an A2 colour poster, accompanied by teachers’
notes and activities, for use in schools, youth groups, and wherever
else is deemed appropriate, to promote interfaith dialogue, co-operation
and conflict resolution (for use with 5 18 year olds).
- New Year's resolutions
with a difference! - colourful stimulus slides are included
in this activity to help your class make New Year's resolutions
with a difference. Can be adapted for any age group.
- Your World, My World
looks at the lives of four children from Ethiopia, Brazil,
Russia and India, enabling teachers to bring a global perspective
to exploring issues such as 'myself', 'helping out', and 'caring
and sharing' (for children aged 5+).
