Energy
| A selection of Oxfam science resources
to complement the Science Museum's new Energy
Gallery |
Science is a global activity with consequences for all our lives.
It is also a human activity with ethical, social and political dimensions.
We’ve brought together a selection of resources covering:
sustainable development (including recycling and energy efficiency),
environmental issues, food (including farming and biodiversity)
and health (including drugs and HIV/AIDS).
The resources include: free lesson plans and activities,
priced education packs, links to relevant pages for young people
as well as further information/case-studies from our On
the Line millennium project.
This collection is particularly timely since Oxfam
recently contributed case-studies and images of young people’s
energy use around the world for the UK Science Museum’s new
Energy
Gallery.
