About the Interfaith Education Group
The Interfaith Education Group is an offshoot of the Interfaith
Humanitarian Group, convened by Oxfam’s Director, Barbara
Stocking, to bring together NGOs in the UK from Christian, Muslim,
Jewish and secular backgrounds.
Members of the group include CAFOD (Catholic Agency for Overseas
Development), Christian Aid, Citizenship Foundation, Islamic Relief,
JCORE (Jewish Council for Racial Equality), Muslim Aid, Oxfam,
Save the Children, UKJAID (UK Jewish Aid & International Development).
The fact that agencies as diverse as Oxfam, Christian Aid, Islamic
Relief and UKJAID are working together is as important as the end
product.
